Laced with Grace......

Glitz Girls did it again! A fabulous range with stunning shades! Soft, subtle burnt orange with beautiful vintage tints - truly Laced with Grace! The whole range of paper and most embellishments, including the great stampset, is at the shop! At only R8-00 a sheet, the paper is priced so well, one can buy one of each!

The rolled flowers were done with a die from Sizzix ( makes life so easy!) The clock and gears are a mask from Tim Holtz and it was misted using a home made Glimmer mist made up of Distress Ink reinker and two shades of perfect pearls. Yummie!!

The butterflies were cut from one of the patterned papers, and then dressed up in various ways. Hope you like the layout. There are two more ranges as well in the line - here is a link to view all the papers

What a Hat!

Charmaine had a few days off, and decided to come and spend one with us at the shop, making a gorgeous Hat box and Monica's mulitlayered gift box. Her Africa box was not yet finished when she left, but just look at the GORGEOUS hat box she made for her mom for Mother's day! Those little birds are just to die for!!

Here is a close up of the box Donsie helped her make! The branch is very real - courtesy of our shop's backyard! Well done, Charmaine!

Custom Embellishments

When you are scrapping a page and you have a spot to fill, and you have looked through ALL your goodies and NOTHING fits just right, make your own embellishments! Here I used a stamp ( butterly and script) and stamped it 3 times on patterned paper. I then punched it out with my circle punch - you could use a glass as a template and handcut it. I then stamped another image and cut out the butterfly and put it over the middle stamped one, and added some stickles after I used some foam dots to give it some dimension. I then used my Ranger Dimensional Pearls to make the pearl dots around the two outer images. Love making my own embellishments! Grab that stash and USE it!! We carry all 12 colours of Dimensional Pearls in store, and they really go a looooonggggg way!!
