Some more of Hogscrap! This is Gail Dorfling's Family Matters album as taught by Genevieve over the weekend. We will showcase the whole album, 4 frames every day, as there is so much detail! Then we will showcase Gail's daughter, Leilani's album. Done with the same kit, but she scrapped their boat cruise! The album came in kitted form, with everything you need. This is the cover
Gail started with her parent's 60th wedding anniversary. The album is filled with pockets and place for tags.
Must be love after 60 years! The word "love" was cut with the Cricut, and is also part of the kit.
Gail's mom as a young girl. Note all the handwritten journaling. I have been after Gail to use her own handwriting for years - and when she started using it in this album, she could not stop! Note the journaling on the black around the photo on the right.....stunning!! visit us tomorrow for episode 2 of Family Matters!
These pages are really beautiful. It must have been a great weekend at Hogsback - I'm quite envious, but perhaps next year! :-)
ReplyDeleteBlessings from Sharon van Rensburg
I am also envious. This is something I'd also like to do, as I have hundreds of family pics which I took from my Mom and still need to journalise and document for future generations. Love your new blog and am going to enjoying reading your posts. Well done! hugs from Cape Town, Sharon
