here are some more of Jean's creations to inspir you!. she cut the pointsettia from Kaisercrafts Christmas paper and used stickles to dress it up

here she used another range by My Mind's Eye that has NOTHING to do with Christmas, and embossed the one circle with silver sparkle embossing powder.

today we are showcasing some of Jean's amazing Christmas cards. she used the Lost and Found range by My Mind's Eye to create these master pieces.

Jean has a fantastic eye fro details and colour. she knows how to incorporate elements that make a wonderful first impression

here she used stickles for her baubles' loops

and a beautifully cuttlebug embossed envelope completes this card. Jean's cards are always amazing. they are not overdone and as she sells them for a living, they should not cost her too much. she is a master at using every single piece of paper and taking an idea and making it her own.

A touch of a finger triggers a quick, controlled application of Scotch tape. This system uses a unique "reverse-wound" adhesive roll, with liner, so as the tape is applied to the surface or substrate in the desired location and length, the liner simultaneously rewinds and disappears into the applicator.

Christmas Joy............

Gail Dorfling did this gorgeous layout in a class we held two weeks ago. the class focused on using a blank piece of CS, dressing it up with colourwash or Glimmermist, how to make a rosette flower, use stitching as a design element and how to use paper in a creative way. it also emphasised the fact that Scrapbooking does not have to break the bank. you don't have to buy expensive embellishments. you can create your own!

here is a close up of her gorgeous flower. such a simple technique, and so effective!

lost and found...

The beautiful new collection by My Mind's Eye, Lost and Found arrived in the shop. It is a stunning collection full of sparkle with a Vintage feel to it. We have the full range. All papers are double sided, even the diecut ones. They are all selling for R12-00. The various embellishments start at R10 and the most expensive are the book covers ( which are stunning!) at R75-00. We even have all the stamps from this collection.
