Birthday Bash!!

Yes, the shop is now a toddler!! Two years old. We can hardly believe it! Time really does fly. it was a stunning day, weatherwise, and we were so blessed with just a slight breeze and a moderately temperature - perfect for a party!!

This is a view of the table at about 9:10 in the morning. Everything nicely laid out. (please note Magda's shopping basket at the end of the table, already being filled!!!)

This is the view of the table about an hour later! ! Buzzing! The cupcakes were great and the vegetable and cheese puffs ( thank you Bettie!!) were FANTASTIC! Just look how lovely the Kaisercraft Cupcake stand looks that Donsie decorated.

Here Elizna and Anel are making sure they get the best of the papers that were less 50% - especially flown in from the USA from Webster's pages - stunning designs and so difficult to choose from!!

We had a special guest, from Holland and this is what the table looked like at about 12:30pm! The flowervase was overflowing with flowers from some of our clients, the cupcakes were almost finished, as well as Bettie's cheesy snacks, and the baskets with the distress inks and heatguns were out to do some demonstrations for the ladies who have never "met" a distress ink, or seen the magic of embossing powder melting!

Some more clients browsing through the special selections outside.

Here is the winner of our Grand Prize worth R2000, Magda Klopper. She was first through the doors in the morning, and is from PE. When we phoned her at 1:30 to tell her she had won, she cajoled her husband into bringing her back so that she could collect her prize!

From the three of us - THANK YOU to all our wonderful clients who support us, and joined us in celebrating our second birthday. We really hope you will be with us for many more years to come, and celebrate LOTS more birthdays with us! To all our suppliers for generously donating all the prizes for the Lucky Draws and give aways - THANK YOU! Each person received a gift on Saturday, and we appreciate that in the current economic climate it is not easy to just give things away for free, but all of you were so generous!
