Saturday saw a bunch of ladies at the shop again for various lessons and just Scrapping for fun! Donsie is teaching Tannie Lina and Marelise how to make Monica's speciality box, Julie and Lee-Ann came for a layout and Jean is busy with a mini album for her sister.
Here Donsie is explaining to Tannie Lina and Marelise the intricate details of the multi-layered box. It is truly multi-faceted. You too can view the stunning box by clicking here.
Julie is really concentrating.........which paper did we say goes where? Using distress inks for the first time was also a treat!
Lee-Ann is making sure that everything lines up perfectly - just look at how stunningly she added dimension to her pages with the distressing! They were inspired by a layout taught by Nic Howard at the Scrapbook Convention last year. You can also be inspired by viewing the layout here! Scrapbook Studio Jeffreys Bay offers every day open scrapping, and on Saturdays we normally have formal classes. Should you require a one on one class, phone the shop on 042-2932781! We love having our fellow scrappers over. The socialising, eating and scrapping is a treat for everyone!

Dalena's Memories
Dalena Muller did this layout of her daughter on the beach. It is not their dog, just
a random dog, but when the photo was taken, it made such a pretty picture!!
Love the way Dalena used her flower punches to make the layered flowers and
her cutter to cut the waves for the cardstock. Very clever use as well of the strips of paper
and the brads on each side of the stris to finish off. Well done, Dalena!
Thanks for sharing with us!

Monique's masterpiece
Genevieve taught a class two weeks ago at the shop. Monique attended and knew she wanted to scrap some moments from her trip to New York. She chose various Graphic 45 papers for the double page layout.
It is truly a masterpiece. Genevieve's layouts are always spectacular, filled with hidden mini-albums and flaps that can house loads of photos. I think this layout has over 40 photos!
Here you can see an example of all the little mini books open. Please note Monique's clever use of photos on the "Charming" section of the page. Monique cut some of the elements out of the photos - they look like proper embellishments!
An Enmarc Chipboard word embossed with Ranger embossing powder ads just the right title to the page. Really awesome! Thanks Genevieve for teaching the class and Monique for sharing your masterpiece with us! Bring on the next one!!
